A Miami staple, Fireman Derek’s Bake Shop is a family-owned bake shop celebrated for its mouthwatering sweet and savory bites. Founded by former firefighter Derek Kaplan, the Florida native made the shift from fighting wildfires to crafting some of the city’s most talked-about treats.

As the brand expanded with new locations across Florida and began offering nationwide delivery through Goldbelly, it was stepping onto a much bigger stage. The only problem? The brand hadn’t kept up.
